Using our images

The ethos of the MAS is based around the concept of sharing data as freely as it possibly can. At the moment, this means that the entire dataset is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License unless otherwise stated.

To use our images all we request that you do is:

1. Attribute the images as "Courtesy of the Marine Antiquities Scheme"
2. If the use is for traditional publication, let us have a copy for our library (send to us at Wessex Archaeology, Portway House, Old Sarum Park, Salibsury, Wiltshire SP4 6EB)
3. If the use is for online distribution, then just send us a link and please link to us at http://marinefinds.org.uk.
