Details for Pomponius, L. - Roman Republican moneyer

Republican moneyer, possibly the father of the Cn. Pomponius who was Tribune of the Plebs in 90 BC. He issued coins in Narbo jointly with the other monetary magistrates L. Licinius Crassus (q.v.), Cn. Domitius Ahenobarbus (q.v.), M. Aurelius Scaurus (q.v.), L. Cosconius (q.v.), C. Malleolus (q.v.) and L. Porcius Licinus (q.v.).
