Republican moneyer, presumably the father of the C. Publicius Malleolus who was Quaestor in 80 BC and issued coins in the late 90s BC. He issued coins in Narbo jointly with the other monetary magistrates L. Licinius Crassus (q.v.), Cn. Domitius Ahenobarbus (q.v.), M. Aurelius Scaurus (q.v.), L. Cosconius (q.v.), L. Porcius Licinus (q.v.) and L. Pomponius (q.v.).
