Details for Fufius Calenus, Q. - Roman Republican moneyer

Republican moneyer and was Consul in 47 BC. When he was Tribune of the People in 61 BC, he was instrumental in clearing P. Clodius Pulcher in the Bona Dea scandal. He fought under Julius Caesar, but ultimately died when campaigning against Octavian at the foot of the Alps.
