Republican moneyer, who issued coins in 71 BC and as proConsul in 49 BC. He was a member of the First Triumvirate (though a rival of Crassus'), and after the dissolution of that alliance became an enemy of Julius Caesar. He died in 48 BC, the victim of an assasination in Egypt.
